Carine CharaireとOlivier Casamayou による既存の型にはまらない多様性のあるデュオ 。現代アート、ファッション、ミュージック、ダンス、TV、広告などの様々な分野を、バランスよくミックスするアプローチで、アートディレクション、全体のコンセプト、コレオグラフィー、空間・照明デザイン、キャスティング、サウンドデザインを絡ませながらコンセプトを創り上げ、クライアント(ブランド、アーチスト or/and ロケーション)の 世界観を解釈・表現。現在はコレオグラフィー(CF、MV、エディトリアル、イベント)、アートディレクション(ファッションショー、ウィンドウディスプレイ、コンサート、イベント)、インスタレーション、ダンスパフォーマンスを中心に、 ヨーロッパ、北米、アジアで活動中。
CARINE CHARAIRE
4歳からクラシックバレエを習い始め、コンテンポラリーダンスを20年間学ぶ。コレオグラファー、Blanca Li, Marco Berrettini, Jérôme Bel, そしてコンテンポラリーアーチスト、Pierre Joseph, Elodie Pong, Boris Achour, Edouard Levéなどと共演。
OLIVIER CASAMAYOU
パリのソルボンヌ大学で公務員になるための古典文法・言語学の学位を取得しながら、ソロやトリオ (Natyam, Techno Animal, 3003)公演を通じて、独学にダンスを習得。1996年ベルギーでAlain Platel主催のダンスコンペに出演し、 様々なダンススタイルが絡み合ったユニークな演技でベストダンスソロ部門で1位を受賞。Jérôme Bel, Marco Berrettini や Edouard Levéなどと共演。

Carine Charaire and Olivier Casamayou work on the performative aspect of pop culture, be it throughout dance, light or space design. They detive their inspiration from dance, contemporary art, fashion, club land and television. I COULD NEVER BE A DANCER creates choreography for music videos, advertising (print, TV & web) and commercial events, in Europe, U.S., and Asia. They also do art direction for fashion shows, fashion windows, commercial events and concerts. In the context of contemporary art, their installations and performances are exhibited in museum and galleries worldwide.

After 20 years of studying classical then contemporary dance since the age of four, Carine Charaire performed for choreographers Blanca Li, Marco Berrettini, Jérôme Bel, and contemporary artists Pierre Joseph, Elodie Pong, Boris Achour, Edouard Levé.
OLIVIER CASAMAYOU
Olivier Casamayou, with a high-level “agrégation de grammaire” diploma, is a self-taught dancer who developed, through his solos and trios (Natyam, Techno Animal, 3003), a multi-referential and unique language that was honored in 1996 with the First Prize for Best Dance Solo in Belgium (organized by Alain Platel). He has also performed for Jérôme Bel, Marco Berrettini and Edouard Levé.
